Welcome to the city of MEDELLIN in the department of Antioquia, Colombia. This scenery reproduces some points of the city of Medellin and both includes TWO airports that serve to this beautiful city of the flowers where every day they are spring. The airport OLAYA HERRERA, that approximately 25 years ago served like only airport of the city, is at the moment a small airport of regional operations and private aviation. In his place, was constructed to the international airport Jose Maria Cordova in the neighborhoods of the Rionegro, a small town located at 40 minutes of distance of the city of Medellín. This airport has a runway of approximately 3600 meters in length and capacity to receive heavy traffic. The last year (2006) the Airbus A380 arrived for test the flights in altitude in this airport.
